Active IQ Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Coaching (formerly Gym Instructing)

Start your career in the fitness industry with this entry level fitness coaching course that could be the stepping stone to a life-long career in the hugely popular and expanding fitness & wellness industry. This qualification has replaced the previous Gym Instructor course, with the same great content but a refreshed structure to match current industry standards.

This course is the starting point for those looking to start a career as a fitness coach/gym instructor to work in a gym environment carrying out inductions, developing programmes and training clients in a gym environment. It is also the pre-requisite for those looking to move on to do the personal training course or other specialised training. It is taught through blended learning which is a mixture of home study/e-learning for the theory aspect and face to face training covering the practical elements of the course.

Once booked on to the course you will be sent out a welcome pack including your course manual and set up for your e-learning to support you through your study.

You will then attend your training days with your allocated tutor covering the practical elements of the course, these are taught in various locations in either Glasgow, Edinburgh, Fife or Aberdeen in Scotland, or in Manilva, Spain. You can choose from any of the dates listed.
