Group Indoor Cycling

This course is aimed at individuals wishing to gain the skills and knowldge to design and deliver safe and effective group indoor spin studio cycling sessions. Ideal for instructors and personal trainers who are looking to enhance their skills and knowledge to be able to teach these popular classes

Course Content

During the qualification learners will cover the following:

How to design and teach safe and effective group indoor cycling sessions
The principles of warm up, the main workout and the cool down
Working with music and music licensing
Motivating participants
A variety of group teaching skills
Cycle set up and safe cycling technique
How to respond to health and safety issues

Pre-requisite

Level 2 Certificate in group training, group training to music or gym instructor

Assessment and Certification

The course is assessed through written questions, assignments, written questions and practical observations.

On completion candidates will be awarded with The Fitness Education Academy's Group Indoor Cycling Certificate which is endorsed by CIMSPA .
