Active IQ Level 3 Award in Education & Training
This course is ideal for those considering a career in education and training, or for those who are already in a role within education and training but do not hold a teaching qualification for further education. It is also suitable for assessors who are looking to further their knowledge by gaining a qualification that provides an introduction to teaching. This qualification is equivalent to and replaces the level 3 and level 4 PTLLS.As the course is taught on a one to one it can be started at a time to suit.
The aim of this qualification is to provide learners with the skills and knowledge to educate and train individuals or groups. The course is taught through blended learning which is a mixture of home study and face to face teaching, it is assessed through worksheets, lesson planning, teaching logs and observations
Pre-requisite
- There is no pre-requisite for this course, however, candidates must be involved in teaching and be competent in their specialist subject.
